I wasn't as impressed with this one as I was the first one. I mean, the drawings were still amazing and adorable and epic and Princess to the extreme, but I felt like this was more going through the motions? I liked a few storylines, but I got a bit bored with a few of them. I have to say that the Belle and Beast ones always were amazing, but otherwise, it was a bit hit and miss for me. Nothing really brought the funnies too hard for this too. Overall, it's still adorable and sweet and super cut I wasn't as impressed with this one as I was the first one. The artwork is GREAT in this super stinking cute graphic novel. I WANTED to give it more stars, but this volume just is a bit too inconsistent for me. The humor falls flat in a few too many stories.

However, for the tween that enjoys Disney and graphic novels, this is the perfect marriage. Just enough snark and wit without being jaded.

Just as good as the first collection, if not better.

The artistry is gorgeous and the stories are FUN. I loved the winter sets. This entire book brought a smile to my face from start to finish. I wish they would come out with more. I highly recommend :)

Cute, but pretty forgettable. I like Amy Mebberson's Princess shorts online more where the princesses live together. In these ones, the characters live in their own universes. There's some adorable moments, but some of the jokes are pretty oblique. Cute, but pretty forgettable. I like Amy Mebberson's Princess shorts online more where the princesses live together. Brief cartoons about Disney princesses - some prequels and other sequels. My four-year-old loves looking at the full-color pages.

Cute art like in the first volume! This one also made me chuckle a lot and I loved finding more about the princess's life. Cute art like in the first volume! This one also made me chuckle a lot and I loved finding more about the princess's life. ...more

Adorably cute comics for kids, reminiscent of Mebberson's "Pocket Princesses" web comics, but each princess is in her own world. Adorably cute comics for kids, reminiscent of Mebberson's "Pocket Princesses" web comics, but each princess is in her own world. ...more

These are more super cute newspaper style comics of some of the Disney princesses. I wish they could expand to include Anna and Elsa as well as other non-princess girl characters like Lilo and Nani, Alice, Wendy, Marie. etc. I am also hoping that Moana gets added to the roster eventually as well.
I would also enjoy if the princesses were to interact with one another like in the Pocket Princesses web comic.

Amy Mebberson is one of my favourite comic artists in the genre at the moment, and I really adore her Pocket Princesses web-comic, which means - of course - that I am a huge fan of these individual Disney Princess Comic Strips. Collection 2 arrived at my home today, courtesy of Amazon, and it didn't take me long to devour each strip with a smile on my face.

All the official princesses are represented - up to Merida, at least. Frozen onwards have not been included in the collection, and I'm not entirely sure why. Not that it matters - each Princess and her individual movie cast has their own moments to shine, and Mebberson reminds us why these ladies are people to admire. They're funny, kind, stubborn, smart, basically anything you can thing of. All the comics are played for humor, but more often than not there are genuine heart-warming moments. In this collection, the stand-out for that would be a long strip in which Tiana prepares her restaurant to feed the homeless of New Orleans. Lottie comes along with donates suits from Big Daddy to give the people some fine new clothing. The humor comes from Naveen apparently being a bit clueless to what's going on - he doesn't attend enough staff meetings - but the heart-warming of the strip shines through about all.

If you like Disney, these are definitely comics worth picking up and checking out. They are pretty much guaranteed to make you smile.
